    Crater Crawl 6.2mi/2.9mi
Participants will run or hike a challenging 6.2-mile course or a 2.9-mile out-and-back course around two adjacent, symmetrical volcanic pit craters, about 8 miles northwest of Mountain Home, Idaho. The 6.2-mile route takes runners around two symmetrical volcanic pit Crater Rings, a unique site featuring a few examples of volcanic pit craters in the continental United States and recognized as a National Natural Landmark. The 2.9-mile course leads to a spectacular view of the east crater. The shorter route is an excellent option for those who want to experience the craters but don't want to travel around them on a rough and challenging course.  The goals of the event are to encourage the values of low-impact, non-motorized outdoor recreation and raise funds for Idaho Outdoor Association projects, activities, and educational programs; for more information about the event, go to www.cratercrawl.org

    IMTUF 100mi/20mi Challenging Trail Race
14TH ANNUAL IMTUF 100 races. Registration opens on January 2nd, 2025. We will run the same courses as we have in years past, starting and finishing at Jug Mountain Ranch, just south of McCall. Race dates are September 20-21, 2025. The 100 mile starts on Saturday at 6AM, the 20 mile starts SUNDAY at 9AM. BEFORE REGISTERING: Read our refund policy (ends 7/1/2025). Read our waiver carefully too as this is a serious race with HUGE commitment and not appropriate for many ultrarunners who want an experience without adventure and uncertainty. This is mountain adventure running with big consequences for the unprepared. Qualifiers: For 2025, IMTUF will continue to be a Hardrock 100 qualifier, as it has since 2012. The 2025 race is also a Western States 100 qualifier. These qualifications make IMTUF a coveted finish. Warning!!! This is a serious race. IMTUF is known to have a committing feel. You are many miles and many hours away from help, if your body or mind fails you. Though we are a qualifier for HR100 and WS100, we strongly urge you to be focused on this event 100000%, as overlooking it for next year's goal race will be a punishing mistake. This is a post-graduate level ultra that must be respected. Refund Policy: 1. We will refund 50% of your entry fee until July 1st, 2025 at 11:59pm. 2. After July 1st, there will be no refunds. 3. We will not do any rollover or transfer of bibs. 4. IMTUF is a mountain race. If the race must be cancelled due to fire, severe weather, etc, there is no possible way for us to refund or rollover your entry. That money is gone. When you register, consider this issue and either commit or stick to safer races that run in circles. 5. If facing personal financial hardship, reach out to us.
